Street food is a big hit among the masses in Mumbai.

A foodie’s paradise, Mumbai’s Khau Gallis offer some of the most lip-smacking street food in the city. For the uninitiated, in Marathi, khau means treat and galli means a small lane.
A melting pot of cultures and refreshingly diverse influences, street food in Mumbai offers a unique potpourri of flavors that is incredibly satisfying. And Khau Gullies are where one can feel the pulse of Mumbai’s culinary culture.
One such place to make you drool is at Kharghar Navi Mumbai. The street near Utsav Chowk in Kharghar turns into a fully functional and chaotic Khau Galli in the evenings.

MOMOS:

Specially known for its Momos, this is a paradise for Momo lovers.
The streets is full of Momos selling vendors and your quest for steaming Momos with fiery red dip will end here.
Head straight to the Momo vendor who makes perfectly steamed Momos with generous chicken and vegetarian fillings and serves them with a spicy Schezwan sauce.

The Parathas are fresh and prepared in front of you. The varieties of stuffing’s on menu are methi (fenugreek), aloo (potatoes), onion, gobhi (cauliflower), and muli (radish). The chutneys that come with the Parathas are just as good – definitely good for a try.

True to its name, the place offers a great variety in tandoori items and kebabs. A great place for people who enjoy non-vegetarian food, they have kebabs available in mutton and chicken. Some of the kebabs they offer are tikka kebab, lasooni kebab, chicken malai kebab, mutton kebab, tangdi kebab, etc. Their speciality, tangdi kebab is a lip smacking appetizer, marinated in spices like garlic, chilli powder, and amchoor (dry mango powder).
